01The app and local records
Zancuo version 1 does not require an account and contains no ads, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not collect or upload family dates, checklists, text, photos or usage records to developer servers. Everyday viewing and recording work offline.
Family dates, checklists, practices and selected photo copies are stored in the app on your device. Version 1 does not provide automatic in-app cross-device sync. Device backups are governed by your operating system and device settings.
02Notifications, calendars and photos
Notification permission is requested only when you enable reminders. Local notifications are scheduled by the device operating system. You can still view dates and save records without granting permission, and can change permission in system settings.
Calendar permission is requested only when you enable writing to the system calendar. Zancuo creates and maintains events in its dedicated calendar; it does not read or upload unrelated calendar contents. Your calendar account may sync or share exported events according to its settings.
You select reference photos using the system photo picker. Zancuo stores copies of the selected images; removing a copy from the app does not remove the original from your photo library. Version 1 has no audio recording feature and does not request location access.
03Backups and sharing you initiate
You may export a full backup or share selected content using the system share sheet. A full backup can contain family dates, text and photos. A family custom package contains the practice settings described on its export screen. Review the preview and keep exported files safe.
The recipients, email services or file services you choose handle information under their own terms. Family date names can be hidden in notifications, calendar events and widgets. Check the contents before sharing.
04Deletion and managing your data
You can delete family records in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage, but does not automatically remove exported files, shared copies, system backups or events left in the system calendar. Manage these separately in their respective locations.
05This website
This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use traffic analytics scripts, load external fonts, or include tracking SDKs. Language choices are ordinary links and are not saved in browser storage.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs and stores visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. See GitHub’s privacy statement for details. The app’s local-only family records do not mean that website hosting has no technical logs.
06Contacting support
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. These are used only to reply, investigate and handle your request, and are processed by the email services used. Avoid including unnecessary private family information.
We keep support correspondence only as needed to handle and follow up on the issue. You may email us to request deletion or ask about information handling, subject to any legally required retention.
